We’re working with a large, internationally recognised industrial business looking to hire a UK Tax Manager into its established in-house function. This is a broad role offering strong exposure across compliance, reporting, and advisory within a well-structured global environment.
You’ll report into a highly regarded Head of Tax and play a key role in managing UK tax obligations across multiple entities, while also supporting wider projects and process improvements.
Responsibilities- Lead UK corporate tax compliance across a group of holding and trading entities
- Prepare and review tax provisions for group reporting
- Manage HMRC interactions, including business risk reviews and audits
- Support employment tax matters (PSA, P11D, business visitors, ERS)
- Contribute to RDEC and Patent Box claims
- Provide input on M&A, restructurings, and integration activity
- Monitor legislative changes and assess impact on the UK group
- Drive improvements in tax processes, controls, and automation
- Strong UK corporate tax background (compliance and reporting essential)
- Ideally some exposure to employment taxes
- Experience in a multinational environment preferred
- Solid understanding of IFRS / UK GAAP tax principles
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Confident stakeholder management across finance and HR
- Broad, hands-on role in a global business
