Treasury Controller

We are seeking a highly technical and commercially astute Treasury Controller who is an IFRS 9 Specialist and an experienced Technical Treasury Accountant to join the team of a large and instantly recognisable business. This is a pivotal role within the technical accounting team, focused on transforming and integrating the treasury accounting framework across a dynamic and fast-paced group structure. You will lead and support complex treasury accounting initiatives, with particular emphasis on hedge accounting under IFRS 9, derivative strategy optimisation, and strengthening treasury-related controls and processes. This role offers exposure to a wide range of financial instruments and global operations, making it ideal for someone with deep expertise in IFRS 9 and a passion for technical treasury topics. Responsibilities: Act as the IFRS 9 SME within the technical accounting function, ensuring compliance and best practice application across all treasury-related activities. Drive the integration and standardisation of treasury accounting processes across the group, working closely with group treasury and local finance teams.
