Treasury Analyst

I'm currently partnering with a well-established and growing business in Manchester to recruit a Treasury Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity for a treasury professional looking to join a collaborative finance team with exposure to a broad range of treasury activities and the opportunity to develop their career.
The Role
Reporting to the Treasury Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day treasury operations, ensuring efficient cash management, maintaining banking relationships, and contributing to liquidity and risk management activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily cash positions and manage cash forecasting.
- Support short and medium-term liquidity planning.
- Prepare treasury reports and analysis for senior stakeholders.
- Process and reconcile treasury transactions.
- Assist with bank account management, including opening, closing, and maintaining accounts.
- Support payment approvals and treasury controls.
- Build and maintain relationships with banking partners.
- Assist with foreign exchange and interest rate risk monitoring where applicable.
- Support treasury projects, including process improvements and systems enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
About You
- Previous experience in a Treasury Analyst or similar treasury/finance role.
- Understanding of cash management and treasury operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with treasury management systems is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across the business.
- Studying towards or qualified in ACT, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA would be beneficial but is not essential.
