We're working with a well-established and growing business in Manchester that is looking to appoint a Treasury Analyst on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative finance team and gain exposure to a broad range of treasury activities within a dynamic environment.

The Role

Reporting into the Treasury Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day treasury function, ensuring efficient cash management and helping to optimise liquidity across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing daily cash positioning and forecasting.
  • Monitoring bank balances and cash flows.
  • Preparing short and long-term cash flow forecasts.
  • Supporting banking relationships and maintaining banking platforms.
  • Assisting with treasury reporting and month-end activities.
  • Supporting foreign exchange and funding activities where required.
  • Ensuring treasury controls and processes are adhered to.
  • Assisting with continuous improvement projects and process enhancements.

About You

  • Previous experience in a treasury or cash management role.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident using Excel and financial systems.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business.
  • A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Treasury qualifications (AMCT) or studies towards one are advantageous but not essential.
