Exciting opportunity to take the reins of financial reporting and accounting across two major cost areas, including leading global reporting for group brand royalty agreements. You’ll be at the heart of driving financial control and insight alongside Commercial Finance Business Partners.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Lead the monthly management accounts for Marketing, Technology, and Brand Licence Royalties, complete with sharp variance analysis and meticulous balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring deadlines are smashed.
  • Deliver dynamic, insightful reporting to the Marketing and Technology teams, Commercial Business Partners, and senior finance leaders.
  • Partner with Commercial Finance to empower budget holders through smart cost reviews.
  • Own the oversight of third-party brand spending and ensure every penny is recovered efficiently within Marketing.
  • Take charge of global royalty agreements—ensuring compliance, accurate cost recognition across territories, and timely group-wide declarations.
  • Dive into detailed analysis of monthly payroll and travel spend across Marketing and Technology.
  • Roll out robust financial controls aligned with the Group’s framework.
  • Jump into exciting ad hoc projects to add value and drive transformation.

Skills/Experience/Knowledge Needed:

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) and experience in a top accountancy firm is important.
  • Proven experience in management accounting—retail experience a big plus!
  • Passion for simplifying processes and leading continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional communication skills—clear, confident, and concise.
  • Top-notch analytical ability to uncover, explain, and influence financial performance.
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset.
  • Master multitasker with strong time management and deadline focus.
