Purpose of the Role
The Senior Credit Risk Adviser is responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of credit risk across the organisation. The role involves assessing counterparty creditworthiness, monitoring exposures, maintaining credit limits, and ensuring credit decisions align with internal policies and the organisation's risk appetite.
Working closely with colleagues across Finance, Commercial, Trading, Treasury, and other business functions, the successful candidate will provide practical credit risk support while escalating more complex matters where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out responsibilities in line with company policies, regulatory requirements, and best practice.
- Assess the financial standing of new and existing business partners and make informed credit recommendations.
