Position: Financial Controller Type: Perm Qualifications: Qualified Accountant (ACA) Description: Financial Controller | Flexible, hybrid working arrangements | £80 – 90k plus excellent benefits Communicate is working with a national Construction business based in London. The company has contracts with the likes of NHS and Arsenal FC Key responsibilities will include: Hands-on management of business accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash and the general ledger Prepare regular multi-currency cash flow forecasts Review monthly payroll (prepared by external partner), prepare VAT returns and reconciliations, prepare corporate tax provisions, monitor transfer pricing Prepare monthly IFRS financial reporting and half-yearly financial disclosures Prepare annual financial statements and manage a smooth external audit process Ad hoc accounting, reporting and analysis for the business, for Group finance, and for government statistics Understand the financial performance of the business, and use it to bring insight and opportunities to the business Develop strong collaborative relationships with business leaders and colleagues within the business unit Candidates will: Qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA) Audit trained (Big 4/Top 6) prior experience within construction Minimum …
