TREASURY ASSISTANT – 12-MONTH CONTRACT

We are seeking a Treasury Assistant to join a busy Treasury function on a 12-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their treasury career within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

THE ROLE

The Treasury Assistant will support the wider Treasury team across day-to-day treasury operations, cash management, payments, reconciliations and reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support daily treasury operations, including cash management, payments and bank account administration.
• Assist with cash forecasting, liquidity reporting and cash flow analysis.
• Process and monitor bank transactions, payments and receipts.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support the management and administration of bank accounts and banking relationships.
• Assist with FX, interest and other treasury-related transactions as required.
• Prepare regular treasury reports and analysis for senior stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate treasury records and ensure appropriate controls are followed.
• Support Treasury projects, process improvements and system enhancements.
• Work closely with Finance, Accounting and other internal stakeholders to resolve treasury-related queries.

ABOUT YOU

• Previous experience in a Treasury, Finance or Accounting environment.
• Good understanding of cash management, payments and bank reconciliations.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good Excel skills and confidence working with financial data.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Good communication skills with the confidence to work with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactive, reliable and keen to develop a career within Treasury.
