Job Description:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and reporting packs
- Produce and analyse P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit control functions
- Monitor and analyse financial performance across multiple practice locations
- Partner with operational teams to improve practice profitability and performance
- Support payroll oversight and review people-related costs
- Ensure accurate reconciliations and revenue reporting
- Assist with year-end processes, audit requirements, VAT submissions, and compliance
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and reporting enhancements
- Provide commercial insights to support business growth, expansion, and investment decisions
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or similar senior finance role
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience working with UK-based organisations
- Strong management accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting experience
- Solid understanding of financial controls and UK accounting principles
- Advanced Excel and accounting systems experience
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and operational teams
- Healthcare, dental, or multi-site environment experience advantageous
- Experience with Xero and related finance platforms highly beneficial
Qualification:
- ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification
