In our 'always on' world, we believe it's essential to have a genuine connection with the work you do. Due to growth and customer demand, CommScope is looking to add a Product Line Manager to our BSA/FTR EMEA team. The ideal candidate will be based anywhere in the UK as the role is virtual.
The Product Line Management Team provides a central strategic leadership role in CommScope and drives all aspects of a product, from driving new product development to manufacturing to marketing. Crafting a forward-thinking product strategy, business leadership, and capacity plans in order to meet sales and profit targets.
The Product Line Manager position is responsible for developing product strategy, new product introductions, product roadmaps, supporting the sales teams, being the voice of customers, conducting competitive analysis, and defining the value proposition for the product portfolio. Responsible for a portfolio of specific Base Station Antenna (BSA) & Filter Solutions and being accountable for the P&L including revenue, profitability, and long-term growth of the BSA and Filters portfolio.
How You’ll Help Us Connect the World:
In the role, you will develop and implement market, product, and customer strategies, ensuring we stay driven through detailed analysis and benchmarking. Leading the European Product Management Team for BSA/Filters, leading product forecasts to support operations and influence long-term planning. You will build product roadmaps aligned with our business strategy, design go-to-market strategies, and collaborate with R&D and operations to develop new products. Managing the product lifecycle, promoting products, and defining resource needs. Working cross-functionally, align sales, technology, and operations strategies with financial goals, prepare for product launches, and support pricing strategies. You will also contribute to our 5-year strategic growth plan through market and competitive analysis.
As a leader, you are an expert at resolving conflicts, improving customer experience, and enabling sales teams with training and materials. Handle special pricing requests, track business plan progress, and provide demand forecasts, all while supporting new business acquisition.
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
- Bachelors in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent with 7+ years of related product management experience at a wireless networking/RF infrastructure supplier.
- A proven track record of successfully launching new product solutions and good financial acumen.
- Working experience of RF Path solutions.
- Willing to travel 25%-50%.
- Excellent level of the English language both written and spoken; French is a plus.
