Be one of the bold -- engineer advanced networks with us! CommScope is looking to add a Senior Hardware Technician to join our team. This onsite role is located at our Horsham, PA facility.
How You'll Help Us Connect the World. Reporting to our Senior Manager of Hardware Engineering for our Access Technology Group, this position is responsible for following schematics, redlines, and assembly drawings to assist in troubleshooting and debug of analog and digital circuits. The Access Technology RF Design Engineering group owns the design and development of Hybrid-Fiber-Coax (HFC) products for the support of CATV and Data services. The group consists of hardware engineers and technicians developing RF and signal distribution products. If you prosper working in a team environment and are capable of following technical specs and procedures, then this is the role for you!
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
- 8+ years of experience working in an engineering lab environment or 5+ years of experience with an associates degree.
- Experience following schematics, redlines and assembly drawings to assist in troubleshooting and debug.
- Experience with soldering and reworking of Printed Circuit Boards and products.
- Experience with equipment including but not limited to Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, power meters, bench power supplies, multimeters etc.
- Capable of working in a team environment as well as under the direction of a lead engineer.
You Will Excite Us If You Have:
- Familiarity with RF circuit designs.
- Knowledge of broadband RF or products relating to CATV architectures.
