  • Reputation Management: Implement proactive systems to identify and mitigate reputational, regulatory, and commercial risks.
  • Commercial Storytelling: Lead a global approach to communicating new business wins, partnerships, and technical innovations.
  • Leadership Counsel: Act as a functional advisor to the Executive team and senior stakeholders to ensure brand messaging clarity and consistency.

Candidates should possess

  • Listed Company Background: Significant experience within a FTSE-listed environment, ideally a FTSE 250 business.
  • International Scope: A track record of managing communications across multiple regions and diverse markets.
  • Financial Literacy: The ability to interpret financial performance and translate it into clear media and financial communications narratives.
  • Technical Writing Skills: Exceptional writing ability, with the skill to adapt tone for different channels — from formal regulatory news to engaging internal updates.
  • Stakeholder Management: The gravitas to advise senior leadership and influence stakeholders.
  • Thought Leadership (Bonus): Previous experience in building or owning a specific "category" or thought leadership platform is highly desirable.
