Can you turn a global business strategy into a visual story that moves both investors and frontline colleagues? SSP Group plc is looking for a creative, high-energy Interim Group Communications Manager to bridge the gap between corporate data and compelling content. This is a hands-on, "multi-format" role where your morning might be spent translating financial results into an infographic for investors, and your afternoon spent filming a short-form video for Viva Engage.

Working closely with our Senior Corporate and People & Culture leads, you will be the engine room of our global storytelling. We need a proactive self-starter who can take a raw business win and scale it into a high-quality campaign that resonates across LinkedIn, the corporate website, and our internal channels. Your primary goal is to operationalise SSP's narrative, turning performance and culture into consistent, scalable, and visually engaging outputs.

The perfect candidate for this interim stint is a versatile storyteller who instinctively thinks "internal and external" for every piece of content they produce. You will be an expert writer who can adapt your style for the City or for a global internal audience with ease. You should bring a background in high-paced corporate environments — ideally within a listed company — where you have successfully managed multi-channel campaigns. You are as comfortable directing photography and short-form video as you are drafting a press release or a leadership talking point. If you are a commercially-minded creator who can curate content from diverse global markets and deliver it at pace, you will thrive here.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Content Creation: Produce high-quality press materials, social content, film, photography, and presentations.
  • Financial & Corporate Storytelling: Translate trading updates and financial results into summary narratives, leadership briefings, and internal announcements.
  • Digital Management: Manage the corporate website and LinkedIn presence, ensuring a steady drumbeat of trend-led stories and campaign content.
  • Internal Engagement: Deliver integrated campaigns via SharePoint, Viva Engage, and newsletters to connect 40,000+ global colleagues to our vision and values.
  • Thought Leadership: Transform complex insights into digestible articles and LinkedIn series that build our profile as "The Food Travel Experts".
  • Employer Branding: Develop culture-led content and employee stories to attract future talent and strengthen our employer brand.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Expert Content Creator: Proven skills across written, visual, and digital formats.
  • Platform Proficiency: Extensive experience with LinkedIn, SharePoint, and Viva Engage.
  • Speed & Detail: A self-starter who delivers high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative Spirit: A solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work across teams to capture and scale commercial wins globally.
