We are looking for an experienced SC Cleared Hyper-V Consultant to support the deployment and validation of a new Microsoft Hyper-V environment. Working alongside the customer's technical team, you will assist with the implementation, testing and handover of a highly available Hyper-V infrastructure. You must be SC Cleared in order to be considered for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and configure Hyper-V hosts
- Configure virtual Switches and networking
- Validate storage connectivity
- Build and configure Windows Failover Clusters
- Configure cluster quorum
- Create and test virtual machines
- Demonstrate VM failover between hosts
- Configure and validate Hyper-V Replica
- Troubleshoot deployment issues
- Deliver documentation and knowledge transfer
Essential Experience:
- Strong Hyper-V administration and deployment experience
- Windows Server and Failover Clustering expertise
- Enterprise networking knowledge
- Shared storage/SAN experience
- Hyper-V Replica and disaster recovery experience
- Previous infrastructure implementation consultancy experience
