Hyper-V Consultant, Security Cleared, Deploy/Configure, Cheshire, ASAP, £Good
\nWe are looking for an experienced SC Cleared Hyper-V Consultant to support the deployment and validation of a new Microsoft Hyper-V environment. Working alongside the customer's technical team, you will assist with the implementation, testing and handover of a highly available Hyper-V infrastructure.
\nYou must be SC Cleared in order to be considered for this position.
\nKey Responsibilities:

- Deploy and configure Hyper-V hosts \n
- Configure virtual Switches and networking \n
- Validate storage connectivity \n
- Build and configure Windows Failover Clusters \n
- Configure cluster quorum \n
- Create and test virtual machines \n
- Demonstrate VM failover between hosts \n
- Configure and validate Hyper-V Replica \n
- Troubleshoot deployment issues \n
- Deliver documentation and knowledge transfer \n
Essential Experience:

- Strong Hyper-V administration and deployment experience \n
- Windows Server and Failover Clustering expertise \n
- Enterprise networking knowledge \n
- Shared storage/SAN experience \n
- Hyper-V Replica and disaster recovery experience \n
- Previous infrastructure implementation consultancy experience \n
