Our customer is in need of a Support Engineer to assist with their VMWare Horizon/VDI infrastructure. The position entails 2nd/3rd line support responsibilities, to maintain, support, and troubleshoot any issues to the infrastructure. This is an urgent 3-month remote contract with no on-site travel required.
Key Emphasis: VMWare Horizon (Version 8), which will be the main focus of this role. You will need to possess demonstrable experience of supporting an Horizon estate.
The Person: You should possess the following skills to be successful in the role:
- Horizon Version 8 (Particularly with versions 2212 to 2312)
- Knowledge of Cisco UCS hardware
- Extreme IO Storage knowledge
- FSLogix
