The Post Partum Unit consists of 14 private rooms with a level 1b Continuing Care nursery. This unit provides care for mothers and infants through the early stages of postpartum to discharge. We foster a culturally sensitive approach to couplet care and early family bonding.
Manager Requirements:- At least 3-5 years of Nurse Manager experience in Postpartum.
- At least 1 year of documented travel nurse experience.
- Acute care experience.
- 3-5 years of clinical experience in a Continuing Care Nursery, Special Care Nursery (SCN), or Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
- Current AHA BLS & NRP certifications.
- Minimum 2 years progressive management experience.
- Specialty certification required or obtained within one year of appointment.
- ACTIVE MA RN license.
- EMR Experience Preferred: EPIC.
- Flu vaccine required during season.
- 2 recent Post Partum Charge RN/Manager/Supervisor references.
