8 hour day shift, 40 hours/week.

The Post Partum Unit consists of 14 private rooms with a level 1b Continuing Care nursery. This unit provides care for mothers and infants through the early stages of postpartum to discharge. We foster a culturally sensitive approach to couplet care and early family bonding.

Manager Requirements:
  • At least 3-5 years of Nurse Manager experience in Postpartum.
  • At least 1 year of documented travel nurse experience.
  • Acute care experience.
  • 3-5 years of clinical experience in a Continuing Care Nursery, Special Care Nursery (SCN), or Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
  • Current AHA BLS & NRP certifications.
  • Minimum 2 years progressive management experience.
  • Specialty certification required or obtained within one year of appointment.
  • ACTIVE MA RN license.
  • EMR Experience Preferred: EPIC.
  • Flu vaccine required during season.
  • 2 recent Post Partum Charge RN/Manager/Supervisor references.
