Responsibilities:

  • Augment full-time teaching faculty with qualified part-time instructors to enhance the student learning process.
  • Teach all aspects of properties of construction materials and related testing procedures for technicians.
  • Teach all aspects of CAD software as applied to residential and commercial buildings. Both broad content areas involve classroom and laboratory instruction.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
  • Ability to use instructional technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills.
  • Successful completion and passing of a criminal background check is required.

Additional Considerations:

  • Work experience in the use of surveying equipment, distance measurement, traversing, area computations, topographic map analysis, earthwork and other related topics.
  • Knowledge in basics of applied hydraulics, drainage and water resource technology preferred.
  • Must be able to run labs with surveying equipment.
