The Division of Health Sciences at Brightpoint Community College augments full-time teaching faculty with qualified part-time instructors to enhance the student learning process. If you are currently a radiologic technologist and would like to help educate future technologists, consider teaching part-time with Brightpoint Community College in our radiologic technology program as an adjunct faculty. Orientation to the responsibilities will be provided by full-time faculty or the Program Director. Course textbooks provided as well as orientation to Brightpoint classroom support software. Adjunct faculty provides traditional delivery instruction at the off-campus instructional site. Courses may be taught during the day and evening.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of an associate’s degree and demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline.
- Holds current ARRT certification and registration in radiography.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
- Must successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check prior to employment.
Additional Considerations:
- Bachelor’s degree in the teaching discipline preferred with prior teaching experience at the postsecondary level.
- Ability to use instructional technologies.
