Housekeeping Lead Worker in Chesterfield

The Virginia State Police (VSP) is seeking to hire a Housekeeping Lead Worker in our Training Division at our Administrative Headquarters in North Chesterfield, Virginia. The job duties for this position include but are not limited to:

• Cleaning and maintaining the Academy and Physical Training Building.
• Maintaining necessary quantities of housekeeping supplies at the Academy supply rooms.
• Managing linen and paper product supply.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Knowledge of cleaning methods.
• The use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Safety practices.

Skill in:

• The operation of cleaning equipment.

Ability to:

• Organise and perform tasks pertaining to housekeeping duties.
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing in English.
• Interpret and follow oral and written rules and regulations.
• Maintain good working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
• Experience performing cleaning tasks.
• Graduation from high school or GED or equivalent or ability to obtain a GED within six months from hire.
