CommonAI CIC is a non-profit membership organisation, founded on a belief in collaborative engineering for the safe and responsible development of foundational AI technologies. Responsibilities
- Working with the CommonAI software team to ensure our environment is secure by design.
- Implementing security best practices across the company for all IT, development and production environments.
- Working with customers to ensure that their use of our platform and services is secure.
Requirements
- A practical, hands-on approach and ability to work across layers of the stack when needed.
- Strong experience with cloud infrastructure and platform security on AWS and other hyperscalers.
- Deep understanding of IAM & identity federation.
- Networking expertise (VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, VPNs, private endpoints).
- Knowledge of compute orchestration (Kubernetes, VMs, serverless).
- Cloud cost optimisation and resource governance.
- Programming experience for IaC in Python, Go, Bash or similar.
- Ability to work with key customers to troubleshoot production problems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Desirable
- Experience working with AI workloads is a bonus.
- Experience working with secure multi-tenant environments, HPC administration and working with SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
