As a Software Engineer (AI/ML) you will help build smart systems, and their components, that leverage the latest open source artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to solve real world challenges. Open development is at the heart of what we do and we encourage our engineers to play an active role in open source communities.
Requirements
- Excellent programming abilities with experience in relevant languages (Python, Rust, C++ and/or Go)
- Experience with relevant libraries/tools (PyTorch, Tensorflow, Neo4j) and/or AI accelerators (GPU, TPU) is a plus
- Deep understanding of open source development processes (RFCs/proposals, GitHub pull requests) with demonstrable contributions to open source projects and/or communities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
- Some familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes) and cloud (AWS, GCP) application deployment including monitoring (Grafana)
- Desire to work in a rapidly evolving startup environment where you will have a high impact
- Strong academic background with at least a Bachelor's degree in a technical field. Postgraduate degrees are preferred and research experience is valued
