About The JobWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced worker in Residential Child Care to support the House Manager to lead on the day-to-day operations of one of our residential homes. This is a key leadership role, responsible for creating a stable, safe and caring environment for the young people in our care, while supporting and developing a team of Therapeutic Support workers.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years\’ experience within residential care or relevant field

Relevant professional qualifications HNC Social Care. SVQ level 3 Social Services (Children and Young People or equivalent is essential.

SVQ level 4 Social Services (Children and Young People or equivalent is desirable.

Excellent leadership, communication, and decision‐making skills

Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection

A trauma‐informed approach and understanding of complex behavioural needs

Ability to work flexibly participating in sleep over shifts and on call which will involve weekend working.

Full UK driving license
