The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and ambitious teacher to join our talented, hardworking and supportive team. This is a temporary appointment in the first instance, covering maternity leave until 31st July 2027. The governors are confident that the successful candidate will bring strong teaching practice and contribute to our high standard.
We have an excellent programme of coaching, mentoring and professional development with a dedicated ECT coach and mentor. ECTs are warmly welcomed to apply.
We are looking for an excellent practitioner with a secure and well-developed understanding of children’s learning and development from the EYFS through to the end of Key Stage 1. The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching and learning, committed to collaboration, and eager to contribute to the continued strengthening of our high-performing team. They will have high expectations for themselves and every child, with a relentless focus on ensuring all pupils achieve their very best.
Applicants must demonstrate a strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, alongside an excellent understanding of high-quality phonics teaching and the development of reading, writing and mathematics. They will be reflective, resilient and driven to continually improve their practice.
The school has a successful Ofsted rating and benefits from a 52-place nursery on site and a dedicated, skilled team. The successful candidate will be well supported by our experienced Teaching and Learning lead and highly trained support staff.
