Join our team as Director, Global Sales, and become one of the authors of our story. As part of the Auberge family, you will have the opportunity to unleash your passion for one‑of‑a‑kind hotels, your creative prospecting skills, and your strategic selling talents to maximise multi‑segment business for Auberge Collection hotels from your assigned territory for the growing portfolio. The requirement is to cover all market segments as appropriate to deliver sales for Auberge Hotels: luxury leisure and travel industry agencies, consortia, and group clients. This role carries sales responsibility for the global portfolio of Auberge properties, with additional focus on our European collection.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage GSO relations with leisure retail and group clients to drive bookings from Europe (excluding UK, Ireland, Italy - leisure segment, Russia, Ukraine & CIS).
- Establish GSO and AU company‑wide strategic sales plans for the market, designed to meet sales goals of AU’s growing portfolio of properties.
- Approach the market with 100% proactive sales efforts, to uncover new business, and have a deep understanding of strategic selling to nurture and develop existing clients.
- Organise & attend events, sales trips, trade shows, and familiarisation trips to further build property brand awareness, strengthen relationships and drive sales for AU hotels.
- Engage in direct sales activities with key customers in all market segments.
- Use tools to develop and drive a prospecting plan for the region.
- Create sales opportunities, accurately follow and document lead cycles as appropriate for critical market segments thereby building & effectively maintaining a database of clients in Salesforce.
- Work as a collaborative and supportive team member within the organisation and region, while supporting the onboarding of new team members.
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanour and conduct personal behaviour in a mature and professional business manner while representing the company.
- Travel and work flexible days and hours.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings.
- Use creativity and a strong business acumen to generate immediate results.
- Work on special projects as directed by VP Sales EMEA.
Qualifications
- Language skills: French/ English; Other languages an advantage.
- Knowledge of leisure, retail and group / social clients / markets in the territories.
- Create conducive home office work environment.

- 10+ years experience within the luxury hotel landscape, GSO experience preferred.
- A strong desire to achieve and exceed goals, execution skills to make things happen, a drive for excellence and intensity while being a strategic thinker.
- Basics such as telemarketing skills and phone / video etiquette, excellent interpersonal relations, effective communication and presentation strategies, superior time management and ability to manage multiple ongoing projects while being able to sell effectively are essential.
- 4‑year college degree from an accredited institution or hotel school equivalent.
- Accomplished record of driving sales revenues in luxury hotel environments.
- Strong knowledge of G‑Suite, Salesforce, LinkedIn.
- Property Delphi & Opera PMS an advantage.

- Luxury and lifestyle hotel/resort experience.
- On property experience and prior experience in a multi‑property sales role.
