This is a totally unique care sector opportunity. We will carefully match you to your own small circle of older adults in your local community and you will support them to live happy, independent lives in their own homes by providing the following care and support.

We are looking for friendly, reliable, and ambitious people, regardless of experience, to join our team of Elderly Befrienders.

You probably already have the skills you need to make a great Elderly Befriender, but we will teach you everything you need to know with our industry leading training.

What we offer our Elderly Befrienders:

* Great pay rates – £12.30 per hour weekday and weekends with double time on bank holiday (maximum £24.60 per hour) and guaranteed hours available.
* Travel contribution is paid at 28p per mile
* £300 refer a friend scheme
* Holiday\’s and flexible working, tailor made full time contracts, part time, evenings and weekend hours available!
* Pension contributions for qualifying employees
* Care Certificate training provided (Great for your CV)
* Possible Career progression opportunities
* Regular team social meetings

*Duties will include:*

Companionship, a cup of tea & a natter
Personal care
Prompting & assisting with medication
Assisting Clients with washing and dressing
Shopping
Housekeeping
Meal preparation
Taking Clients for appointments or outings (own car advantageous)

*Requirements of a Elderly Befrienders:*

* Be available for both days on alternate weekends
* Advantageous to hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving license and have access to own vehicle
* Have a genuine passion to want to help others
* Be a reliable team player with a positive attitude
* We require Elderly Befrienders in the following areas:

Peterborough, Oundle, The Deepings, Whittlesey, Ramsey, Market Deeping and Greater Peterborough.
