Looking to start your career in security services? We have a great opportunity for you! Commissionaires BC is looking for security guards to join our casual on call Reserves Division team, working in Surrey. Shifts will vary in location and times so flexibility in availability would be preferred.
Pay rate: from $19 per hour (will vary per site)
Your Must-Haves:
- BC Security License
- Hold OFA 1 or OFA 2
- Residing in Canada for 5 years or more for clearance purposes
- Availability to work at a variety of sites and locations
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Able to stand for long periods and work both indoors and outdoors in a range of weather conditions
Your Nice-To-Haves:
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract
Some of your responsibilities include:
- Patrolling various sites/locations
- Offering first class customer service to both clients and the general public
- Mobile patrolling/ticketing
- Access Control
- CCTV Monitoring
- Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts
- Maintaining detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports
- Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor
