Overview

Tasks for this role:

  1. Grow our business by developing and executing an aggressive client acquisition sales strategy focused on lead generation marketing services and solutions that are consistently evolving due clients ever changing needs.
  2. Identify, develop and close new business opportunities with direct clients, internal & external agencies, and existing clients.
  3. Partner with account and strategy teams to help clients solve problems and leverage research and data to inspire and grow.
  4. Lead the development of proposals and pitches from the client/prospect perspective to ensure relevance, impact, value and compelling business cases.
  5. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients by upselling, renewing, and expanding to grow accounts.
  6. Identify and develop opportunities to expand our services and solutions among sister agencies and new regions globally.
  7. Understand our competitors’ services and selling techniques and be able to effectively compete and sell against them.
  8. Identify client decision makers and build strong relationships that provide opportunities for our services and solutions.
  9. Stay up to date with lead generation and performance marketing, and develop relevant POVs that engage clients and enhance our competitiveness.
  10. Work well in a self-directed environment, adapt and work efficiently in a rapidly changing dynamic environment and a willingness to be an active participant within a team.
  11. Actively attend industry events (E.g. PI Live) and commit to specific goals from those events.
  12. Report directly to the Senior Director of Lead Generation, as part of the Business Development team at CJ.

Qualifications

What CJ is looking for:

  1. 4+ years’ media, lead gen, display, email marketing, agency sales, and business development experience preferred.
  2. Track record of success pitching and developing new business with premiere brands.
  3. Knowledge and passion for sales and lead gen marketing.
  4. Strong verbal and written skills and dynamic presentation style in combination with a strong consultative and professional business acumen.
  5. London – office based (3 days from office, 2 from home, as of 2024).
