A leading corporate banking and capital markets organisation is seeking a Business Analyst Intern to join their team in London.
Main Purpose of the Role: We are seeking a Business Analyst intern to join our FX pricing technology team. The candidate will work closely with the Product Owner and Front-Office business to detail requirements, test and coordinate technology deliveries on the new pricing platform.
Key Activities and Key Competencies:
- Partner with product owner to capture requirements and break down to small functional features with acceptance criteria for development team.
- Perform analysis on existing systems to ensure efficient integration and operation of current and future systems.
- Ensure user stories are up-to-date and reflective of current priorities.
- Hands-on validation of end-to-end pricing pipeline from market data ingestion to price discovery.
- Maintain technology wiki pages and runbooks for pricing functionality and operations.
- Follow established agile process, protocols and quality standards in the development and deployment of pricing solutions.
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Key Requirements:
- Graduated in the last 12 months or working towards graduation
- Expected to or have achieved a minimum 2.1 UK bachelors degree (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially excel and word)
- Some business knowledge or previous internships within Financial Services but not essential
- Team player
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent English
