We’re looking for an IT Support Technician to join our team on-site with one of our valued clients in the legal services sector. This role is ideal for someone who has recently completed a university degree or college course in IT (or equivalent) and is eager to take their first steps into the industry. You’ll work alongside the onsite IT Support Technician, gaining hands-on experience in tasks such as setting up laptops, preinstallations, building machines, logging support calls, and carrying out basic troubleshooting. This is a great opportunity to start building a career in IT within a professional services environment.

Your responsibilities as an IT Technician will be:

  • Assist in setting up and configuring laptops, desktops, and other end-user devices.
  • Support preinitiation processes including imaging and basic configuration of machines.
  • Log and track support calls and service requests using the firm's helpdesk system.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting and escalate issues to senior technicians when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of hardware deployments and software installations.
  • Ensure all activities uphold confidentiality and data protection standards.

About you:

  • A keen interest in IT and technology with a willingness to learn.
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good communication skills and a helpful, professional attitude.

Essential technical skills and experience:

  • Basic familiarity with Windows 10 & 11.
  • Microsoft Office 365.
  • Basic hardware setup and troubleshooting (laptops, desktops, printers).
  • Logging and tracking support tickets.

Desirable technical skills and experience:

  • Exposure to Microsoft Intune and Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Experience with helpdesk or ticketing systems.
  • Interest in legal technology platforms.
  • Some experience of Apple Business Manager preferred.
