Our client is looking for a Transport Administrator to join their team, within their head office. This role will be responsible for supporting the Transport planning team with all administration ensuring vehicle compliance is adhered to.

Roles And Responsibilities For The Transport Administrator Include

  • Planning vehicles efficiently using a bespoke transport planning software.
  • Coordinating and utilising own vehicles when it comes to delivery and collection
  • Planning routes in an optimised and efficient manner
  • Ensuring that time windows and delivery timings are adhered to
  • Monitoring & managing information from the vehicle telematics system.
  • Ensuring all key vehicle information is kept up to date on the system relating to delivery points.

To be successful in the role of the Transport Administrator must have:

  • Previous experience in utilising any Transport Planning Software and other bespoke systems would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Real team player who thrives in a fast-paced, busy, and challenging environment.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages, notably Excel with strong attention to detail.
  • Great Customer Service
