Looking for a role where your technical mindset, customer focus and problem-solving skills can shine? As a Technical Sales Advisor, you'll be at the centre of the customer journey for clients in agricultural, construction and heavy plant machinery sectors. You'll handle enquiries, identify and source parts, prepare quotes and keep essential machinery moving.
If you thrive on helping people, staying well organised and building product knowledge, this role will be ideal for you. You'll join a supportive, well-established team and effort & initiative will be recognised and rewarded with strong on-target earnings.
Key responsibilities:- Handle incoming customer enquiries via phone and email
- Identify parts requirements for plant, construction and heavy machinery customers
- Source parts from suppliers and conduct online research
- Prepare accurate quotes and follow up on enquiries
- Process customer orders efficiently and accurately
- Build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and key accounts
- Provide first-rate product support and take ownership of technical enquiries
- Continually develop product and industry knowledge
- Previous experience within customer service, sales, automotive/plant parts, or similar technical environments
- Strong technical mindset - whether from hands-on work, previous roles or relevant study
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Comfortable working in a commercial, client-focused role
- Good IT proficiency (Word, Excel and any internal CRM systems)

- Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (no weekends)
- Fully office-based - Northampton, NN32
- 5 days holiday plus bank holidays, rising with service
- Monthly & annual bonus scheme - Year 1 OTE circa £36,000
