Logistics Administrator
to join a busy logistics operation in Wellingborough.
This is a varied role focused on
working directly with logistics carriers and transport providers
to investigate delivery issues, resolve problems and keep orders moving.
The Role You will be responsible for: Liaising with
logistics carriers and transport providers
to investigate failed, delayed, damaged or missing deliveries.
Arranging re-deliveries and progressing claims where required.
Investigating delivery discrepancies and following issues through to resolution.
Maintaining accurate records, reports and spreadsheets.
Managing proof of delivery information and supporting invoicing queries.
Working with internal teams, customers and external logistics partners to resolve delivery issues.
Providing general administrative support to the wider logistics team.
About You Previous experience dealing directly with logistics carriers or transport providers is essential.
We are looking for someone who is: Experienced within logistics, transport, distribution or supply chain administration.
Confident communicating with carriers by phone and email.
Comfortable investigating delivery problems and resolving issues.
Organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
Confident using Excel and other Microsoft Office systems.
Detail-focused with a methodical approach to administration.
A good communicator who can work effectively with both internal teams and external providers.
Experience with ERP systems, carrier portals or Power BI would be useful, but is not essential.
