We're recruiting on behalf of a market-leading manufacturer of commercial LED lighting solutions that's investing heavily in growth across the UK. Backed by significant investment and with an outstanding reputation for quality and innovation, they're looking for an ambitious Project Sales Manager to drive specification sales across the North West. This isn't a traditional territory sales role focused on stock sales through wholesalers. This is about identifying opportunities, securing specifications, managing projects and becoming the trusted technical partner for your customers.
The Opportunity:
- Covering Manchester, Liverpool, Preston and the surrounding areas, you'll develop relationships with electrical contractors, M&E contractors, consultants, specifiers and end users to secure high-value commercial lighting projects.
- Projects typically range from £5,000 to £100,000+, spanning:
- Commercial office refurbishments
- NHS and healthcare
- Retail developments
- Student accommodation
- Hotels and hospitality
- Warehousing and distribution
- Apartment developments
- Public sector projects
- External lighting schemes
- You'll manage each project from initial enquiry through specification, quotation, value engineering, order and completion, supported by an experienced internal lighting design and technical team.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Winning new commercial lighting projects across the North West
- Developing relationships with contractors, consultants and specifiers
- Securing product specifications on major commercial developments
- Providing consultative technical advice and lighting solutions
- Producing or supporting lighting designs using Relux and/or Dialux
- Managing projects from enquiry through to completion
- Working closely with internal technical, design and customer support teams
- Building a strong pipeline of long-term project opportunities
We're Looking For Someone Who Has:
- Experience in project or specification sales
- A background within commercial lighting or a similar technical specification environment
- Experience managing commercial projects from enquiry through to completion
- Strong business development and relationship-building skills
- A consultative approach with excellent commercial awareness
- A full UK Driving Licence
