Events Administrator
Northampton | Β£25,000 | 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract
If you're the sort of person who loves keeping things organised, enjoys variety in your day, and gets satisfaction from making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, this could be right up your street.
We're working with a professional organisation looking for an Events Administrator to support the delivery of regional events, coordinate communications with stakeholders, manage administrative processes, and help keep multiple projects moving forward.
This is a busy, varied role where no two days are quite the same. One day you could be coordinating event logistics and preparing delegate packs, the next chasing invoice payments, updating records, arranging meetings, or liaising with speakers and sponsors.
What you'll be doing
Supporting the planning and delivery of professional events and meetings
Coordinating speakers, delegates, sponsors and external stakeholders
Preparing event materials, attendee information and post-event documentation
Raising invoices and monitoring payments
Maintaining accurate records, spreadsheets and tracking systems
Drafting correspondence and handling day-to-day administration
Providing general support across a variety of projects and departments
What we're looking for
Previous administration, customer service or events experience
Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
Ability to prioritise a varied workload and meet deadlines
A proactive attitude and willingness to get stuck in wherever
What's on offer
A varied role with plenty of responsibility
Exposure to event coordination and stakeholder management
Supportive and friendly working environment
Early finish on Fridays
Opportunity to develop valuable administration and events experience within a respected organisation
If you're highly organised, enjoy being the person who keeps everything on track, and want a role where your attention to detail genuinely makes a difference, we'd love to hear from you
