Digital Data Analyst

We're looking for a Digital Data Analyst to join our growing Data & Analytics team and help us unlock the full value of our customer and digital data.

The Role

Reporting to the Data & Analytics Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in helping our Customer Marketing and Brand teams make smarter, data-led decisions.

You'll transform complex digital and customer data into actionable insights, enabling improved marketing performance, stronger customer engagement, and enhanced commercial outcomes across our business.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of data, digital marketing, customer analytics, and commercial strategy, supporting both day-to-day performance optimisation and longer-term business initiatives.

This role is a hybrid working role based out of our Birmingham City head office.

What You'll Be Doing in this Digital Data Analyst role

  • Deliver actionable insights that influence strategic and operational decision-making across our brands.
  • Analyse digital, customer and campaign performance data to identify trends, opportunities and recommendations for growth.
  • Design, build and maintain engaging dashboards, reports and visualisations that bring data to life.
  • Partner with Customer Marketing, CRM and Brand Marketing teams to measure campaign effectiveness and optimise audience engagement.
  • Support customer segmentation, targeting strategies and audience activation initiatives.
  • Monitor key digital and customer KPIs, providing clear performance reporting to stakeholders.
  • Help shape best practice in data analysis, reporting, visualisation and governance.
  • Collaborate with external data and technology partners to support ongoing projects and innovation.
  • Contribute to exciting initiatives that continue to evolve and modernise our data landscape.

What skills you will bring to this Digital Data Analyst role

  • Advanced SQL skills with experience extracting, manipulating and analysing large datasets.
  • Strong experience with business intelligence and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or similar.
  • Experience creating scalable reporting solutions and meaningful KPI frameworks.
  • Ability to communicate complex analysis clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence presenting insights to a range of teams.
  • Analytical mindset with a passion for understanding customer behaviour and business performance.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and data compliance best practices.
  • Experience working with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and audience activation workflows.
  • Knowledge of Python or R for analytics, automation or advanced data modelling.
  • Exposure to predictive analytics, machine learning or AI-powered analytical techniques.
  • Experience analysing customer, CRM or digital marketing data.
