Job Purpose: To make sure the seating solutions are produced safely, cost-effectively and on time and that they meet the required quality standards.
Main Tasks to be completed:
- Responsible for ensuring works orders are completed and delivered on time to specifications.
- The role holder will also be tasked with ensuring the teams KPIs and objectives are being met.
- Support the development of direct reports, by acting as a mentor and supporting continuous improvement activities.
- To ensure a quality culture throughout the manufacturing processes by actively facilitating collaboration between departments and continuous improvement.
- Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising quality, product safety or integrity.
- Proactively suggesting new methods and techniques to improve efficiency.
- Ensure those working in the plant operational areas follow the Company / industry standard health and safety guidelines.

- Solid experience in Operations or Production management in a Manufacturing environment.
- Experience with robot welding machines.
- Experience with people management including coaching / mentoring, appraisal, training and capability/disciplinary procedures.
- Strong leadership skills, able to inspire and energise individuals and teams.
- Capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, and AX.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday (20.00pm – 04.00am)
Location: Round Spinney, Northampton
