Job Purpose: To make sure the seating solutions are produced safely, cost-effectively and on time and that they meet the required quality standards.

Main Tasks to be completed:

  • Responsible for ensuring works orders are completed and delivered on time to specifications.
  • The role holder will also be tasked with ensuring the teams KPIs and objectives are being met.
  • Support the development of direct reports, by acting as a mentor and supporting continuous improvement activities.
  • To ensure a quality culture throughout the manufacturing processes by actively facilitating collaboration between departments and continuous improvement.
  • Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising quality, product safety or integrity.
  • Proactively suggesting new methods and techniques to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure those working in the plant operational areas follow the Company / industry standard health and safety guidelines.

Education / Skills / Qualification / Experience requirements:

  • Solid experience in Operations or Production management in a Manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with robot welding machines.
  • Experience with people management including coaching / mentoring, appraisal, training and capability/disciplinary procedures.
  • Strong leadership skills, able to inspire and energise individuals and teams.
  • Capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, and AX.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday (20.00pm – 04.00am)

Location: Round Spinney, Northampton

Pension: 4% employee contribution

Annual Leave: 20 plus bank holidays
