The Senior Education Systems Consultant will work alongside our Education Systems Consultants and the Education Systems Team Leader at EiS to provide support for schools who will be using one of the several Management Information Systems supported by EiS. The role of the Senior Education Systems Consultant is to provide expert MIS Related advice and guidance to Education Systems Consultants and to schools as necessary, to enable them to carry out their day-to-day duties in a timely fashion to resolve issues that arise when things do not work as expected and to escalate issues for resolution to software providers for further support where required.

What you’ll be doing
Investigate and resolve MIS-related support requests, escalating to third-party suppliers when needed
Monitor and manage progress of support cases, keeping stakeholders informed and minimising delays
Provide expert guidance to colleagues and mentor junior team members
Support the implementation, enhancement, and optimisation of MIS software to drive school improvement
Deliver engaging training sessions and create tailored training materials for school staff
Develop and update training courses to meet evolving customer needs
Liaise with software suppliers to address issues and implement system enhancements
Support and guide schools through smooth MIS migrations
What we’re looking for
A minimum of 2 years’ experience of supporting Management Information Systems (MIS)
Knowledge of MIS, particularly Sims, Arbor and Bromcom
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Significant customer service experience, ideally in a school/educational environment
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
