We are looking for a commercially-minded and strategically-focused Sales & Marketing Director to lead and shape the growth strategy of our Global Education Supplies (GES) division. If you are passionate about building high-performing teams and delivering strong commercial outcomes while creating positive social impact, this is a rare opportunity to drive transformation at scale.

Who we are

Global Education Supplies (GES) is part of the Children & Education portfolio at Commercial Services Group (CSG), comprising seven complementary brands that serve the global education sector. These include KCS Education, CES, Landscapes for Learning, Maudesport, Gresswell, Timstar and Technology Supplies. With a customer base spanning more than 90 countries, GES is entering a transformational phase focused on international growth, new product development, marketing investment and operational excellence.

GES is an ambitious division undergoing significant investment and change. This senior leadership role will be accountable for developing and delivering a joined-up commercial strategy across the sales and marketing functions, leading cross-brand initiatives to drive revenue, margin and customer growth. You will play a pivotal role in creating and embedding a shared culture of commercial excellence and collaboration across the seven brands that make up GES.

What you’ll be doing

  • Set the sales and marketing strategy for GES to support growth in revenue and profitability
  • Lead, develop and inspire a cross-functional team of marketing, sales and business development professionals
  • Deliver a cohesive and consistent go-to-market strategy across multiple product and service lines
  • Build and maintain senior relationships with key customer and partner organisations
  • Define and drive key performance metrics, ensuring commercial targets are met
  • Lead pricing strategy, customer segmentation, lead generation, campaign activity and proposition development
  • Identify and act on growth opportunities in new markets and geographies
  • Work closely with Finance and Operations to align planning and forecasting across the business
  • Champion the use of data and insight to inform strategic decisions and campaign activity
  • Contribute as part of the GES senior leadership team to the overall business plan and delivery

What we’re looking for

  • Proven senior commercial leadership experience in multi-brand, multi-channel environments
  • A strong track record of leading successful sales and marketing strategies that deliver sustainable growth
  • Ability to lead and inspire large teams, create shared direction, and build cross-functional alignment
  • Strong understanding of go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, brand development and digital marketing
  • Commercially astute, data-driven and comfortable owning performance metrics at scale
  • Confident operating at board level, able to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders
  • Experience in the education, B2B services or public sector space is desirable but not essential
