Why this role matters
As our Content Manager you will take ownership of content across our Children & Education portfolio via Education Hub and wider channels. You will shape tone of voice and messaging and create engaging content that builds awareness, demand and retention. You will work closely with teams across Commercial Services Group to understand services and trends so that you can turn insight into strong stories that resonate with educators.
What you’ll be doing
- Repurpose long form content into assets for multiple channels.
- Write, edit and optimise long form content including blogs, customer stories, newsletters and product pages.
- Uphold correct tone of voice and messaging of the subject experts and brands across the portfolio.
- Deliver The Education People and Education Hub content strategy.
- Localise content for key segments in the education sector.
- Own and manage the editorial calendar in line with campaign plans and update internal communications.
- Upload, edit and format content across CMS platforms.
- Lead content quality checks to ensure consistency.
- Create a variety of customer facing engaging content including guides, newsletters, videos, podcasts, events and thought-leadership articles.
- Work with service teams and brands to source features and editorials.
- Write compelling case studies with subject matter experts and partners.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in content research, writing and editing.
- Strong written English with excellent attention to detail.
- Understanding of the education sector is essential.
- Hands on experience with CMS systems such as Umbraco, HubSpot or WordPress is beneficial.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- Confident working with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills.
- Familiarity with marketing automation and digital tools.
- Understanding of design briefing, video scripting and content governance.
- Degree in English or PR, or relevant experience.
- Able to take ownership, work autonomously and deliver at pace to deadlines.
