As part of our work with The Careers & Enterprise Company, we are looking for an Enterprise Coordinator to play a central role in strengthening the connection between education and the world of work across Kent.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a mission‑driven team focused on supporting schools and colleges to deliver impactful careers education. You will work at the heart of a growing network, helping to shape opportunities that enable young people to take confident and informed next steps.
Key Responsibilities Develop and manage a caseload of education institutions.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior leaders and support them to strengthen their careers provision.
Support the recruitment, matching and support of business volunteers including Enterprise Advisers, ensuring they are effectively engaged and equipped to add value within their linked education institutions.
Act as a key connector across the network, bringing together education, business and partners to drive positive outcomes for young people. This includes facilitating meetings, delivering training sessions, and promoting best practice across the Careers Hub.
Monitor progress and impact, using data and digital tools to track performance, identify gaps and support continuous improvement.
Contribute to local and national reporting, ensuring the network remains focused on delivering meaningful outcomes.
What we need from you Strong relationship‑building skills and the ability to engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.
Experience working with schools, colleges, businesses or similar partners is a bonus.
A track record of delivering programmes or projects involving multiple stakeholders.
A good understanding of the education or careers landscape, including the challenges faced by schools and the barriers young people encounter when moving into employment or further training.
Knowledge of national initiatives such as apprenticeships or careers services would be beneficial.
Organised and proactive, able to manage a varied workload and work independently while staying connected to a wider team.
Strong communication skills and the ability to influence and motivate others are essential.
