Salary/package: £31,559.99 per annum

Hours: Full time, 45 hours per week Monday-Friday with Saturday-Sunday shifts every 6 weeks.
Due to the nature of the work being carried out, the successful candidate will need to have a Full (Clean) UK Driving Licence and be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check which will be carried out by the company.
We’re looking for a dedicated, proactive, and safety-conscious Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our Landscape Services team. In this hands-on role, you’ll carry out a variety of outdoor maintenance duties from grass cutting and border work to hedge trimming and maintaining public open spaces. What you’ll be doing
- Carrying out ground’s maintenance tasks including grass cutting, border work, hedge trimming and sports field upkeep.
- Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with health and safety practices.
- Conducting safety checks on equipment and reporting any issues.
- Using equipment and materials safely, following best practices.
- Delivering excellent customer service and representing Landscape Services professionally.
- Liaising with clients to address any concerns and resolve on-site issues.
- Supporting additional operational needs such as snow clearing or managing flooded areas, when required.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in grounds maintenance or a similar outdoor role.
- Knowledge of horticulture and safe operational procedures.
- Demonstrable experience with mowing and grounds care equipment.
- Basic machinery maintenance skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A self-motivated, reliable individual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to travel to and from Tonbridge for work.
