Why this role matters
This role is central to ensuring H&F Council has access to the right talent at the right time. You will act as a trusted partner to hiring managers, delivering a seamless recruitment service while maintaining compliance, managing candidate pipelines, and supporting workforce planning across a range of roles.
What you'll be doing
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers, understanding their workforce needs and recruitment challenges.
- Manage end‐to‐end recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, and onboarding candidates.
- Advertise roles and utilise search techniques to attract high‐quality candidates.
- Review CVs and submit suitable candidates through internal systems and client portals.
- Coordinate interviews, gather feedback and manage offer and placement processes.
- Ensure all compliance and legal requirements are met before candidates start assignments.
- Maintain regular contact with candidates and agency workers, ensuring strong engagement and retention.
- Manage vacancies through CRM systems, ensuring data accuracy and reporting.
- Collaborate with external agency supply chain partners where required.
- Provide ongoing support and aftercare to both clients and candidates to ensure successful placements.
What we're looking for
- Experience working within a recruitment agency or managed service environment.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and candidate sourcing methods.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Good knowledge of compliance and legislation within recruitment (e.g. AWR, IR35, H&S).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and manage expectations.
- Experience using recruitment CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- A proactive, solutions‐focused approach with strong attention to detail.
