Why this role matters
This role is central to ensuring Kent County Council has access to the right talent at the right time. You will act as a trusted partner to hiring managers, delivering a seamless recruitment service while maintaining compliance, managing candidate pipelines, and supporting workforce planning across a range of roles.
What you’ll be doing
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers, understanding their workforce needs and recruitment challenges
- Manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, and onboarding candidates
- Advertise roles and utilise search techniques to attract high‑quality candidates
- Review CVs and submit suitable candidates through internal systems and client portals
- Coordinate interviews, gather feedback and manage offer and placement processes
- Ensure all compliance and legal requirements are met before candidates start assignments
- Maintain regular contact with candidates and agency workers, ensuring strong engagement and retention
- Manage vacancies through CRM systems, ensuring data accuracy and reporting
- Collaborate with external agency supply chain partners where required
- Provide ongoing support and aftercare to both clients and candidates to ensure successful placements
What we’re looking for
- Experience working within a recruitment agency or managed service environment
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and candidate sourcing methods
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Good knowledge of compliance and legislation within recruitment (e.g. AWR, IR35)
