Connect2Kent are looking for a Compliance Officer with strong time management skills and a proactive working style to join their team. This is a role where attention to detail, judgement and collaboration are essential, with responsibility for monitoring compliance status, managing renewals, and supporting brands to meet required standards.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring candidates are onboarded efficiently, accurately and in line with legislative and regulatory requirements. Your work will directly support safe, compliant placements and positive experiences for candidates and internal teams.
What you'll be doing
- Managing day‑to‑day compliance activity to ensure checks and onboarding tasks are completed within agreed SLAs.
- Supporting the effective use of compliance systems to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Processing, verifying and renewing compliance documentation in line with legislation and internal standards.
- Monitoring candidate compliance status and ensuring all required documentation is obtained and validated.
- Responding to compliance queries and managing central inbox activity with timely, accurate communication.
- Monitoring expiry reports and ensuring renewals are actioned within required timeframes.
- Escalating issues that may impact compliance, service delivery or onboarding timelines.
- Identifying training needs and recommending solutions to address knowledge gaps across brands.
- Reviewing and signing off candidate files to support adherence to legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Planning and leading compliance catch‑up calls and documenting actions and minutes.
What we’re looking for
- Proven compliance experience in HR or Administration.
- Experience using CRM or database systems for compliance or screening.
- Customer service experience and the ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office packages.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A solution‑orientated approach with the ability to challenge processes constructively.
- Confidence in highlighting non‑conformance and supporting corrective action.
