Our client is seeking an efficient and reliable Vehicle Fitter to work in our factory, near Peterborough. The role requires a minimum of 2 years mechanical engineering experience and 2 years experience in automotive 12-volt and 48-volt electrical circuits. Welding would be a distinct advantage but is not essential.
As a Fitter for the UK's largest manufacturer of industrial electric vehicles, you will work in the Factory team, producing a wide range of vehicles. Working on the front line of production, you will help maintain the high standards our customers expect. The job is challenging and interesting, with a lot of variation. You will be responsible for building our own vehicles, as well as for the maintenance and repair of the rental fleet.
The vehicles are used across a wide variety of industries, including:
- Oil rigs
- Motor manufacturing
- Airports
- Hospitals
- Golf courses
- Wildlife parks
- Atomic plants
- Power stations
Experience and requirements: You will have 2 years of mechanical engineering experience, gained in automotive, power generation, aviation, or manufacturing environments.
