The Opportunity
We are looking for a Lead Generation Executive to join our client’s growing marketing team in Peterborough. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, commercially minded individual who enjoys speaking to businesses, building relationships and identifying new opportunities. Working closely with the Marketing Account Management team, you will be responsible for generating new business leads and introducing prospective clients to the company’s digital marketing services.
The Role
- Proactively identify and contact potential new business clients
- Make outbound calls and communicate with prospective clients by email
- Introduce the company's digital marketing and advertising services
- Qualify prospective clients and establish their marketing requirements
- Generate high-quality leads and arrange appointments for the Account Management team
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients
- Research businesses to identify suitable opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations and opportunities
- Follow up leads and enquiries to maximise conversion opportunities
- Work closely with the Marketing Account Managers to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads
- Keep up to date with developments in digital marketing and social media
- Achieve agreed lead generation and appointment-setting targets
About You
- Commercially driven and motivated by achieving targets
- Experienced making outbound calls and having conversations with decision makers
- Naturally inquisitive and able to identify customer needs
- Organised, persistent and able to manage multiple prospects
- Able to work independently while contributing positively to a close-knit team
Essentially, You Will Have
- Previous experience in lead generation, telesales, business development, appointment setting or sales
- Ideally experience within a marketing, media, advertising or digital environment
- An understanding of digital marketing, social media or online advertising
- Experience speaking to business owners or senior decision makers
- Previous experience working to sales or lead generation targets
