We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Events Operations Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of events from concept through to completion. This role is responsible for managing logistics across all event activity including suppliers, staffing, budgets, on-site delivery and event analysis. In this role, you will join a dedicated operations team within the wider events department. While the position is primarily office-based during the planning stages, it also involves attending live events on-site.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the operational planning and execution of multiple events simultaneously
- Develop and manage event timelines, logistics plans, and operational schedules
- Coordinate venues, suppliers, contractors, and staffing
- Manage event budgets
- Conduct venue visits, risk assessments, and operational planning meetings
- Oversee health & safety compliance and ensure all events meet legal and company standards
- Manage on-site event delivery, troubleshooting operational issues in real time
- Build and maintain strong relationships with venues, suppliers, and internal teams
Skills & experience:
- Proven experience in event operations, event management and leading a team
- Attention to detail and strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication, ability to work under pressure and a team player
- Experience managing budgets and supplier relationships
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
