Hours: Full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm

About the Role

We are seeking a professional, organised, and customer-focused Front of House & Administrative Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys dealing with customers, and has strong administrative and communication skills. You will be the first point of contact for clients, buyers, vendors, and visitors while also supporting the day-to-day administrative operations of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers, vendors, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and customer enquiries
  • Assist buyers and sellers with registration and auction-related queries
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area
  • Coordinate customer appointments and vehicle collections

Administrative Duties:

  • Process auction paperwork, invoices, and customer documentation
  • Update internal databases and vehicle records accurately
  • Support the sales and auction teams with administrative tasks
  • Handle filing, scanning, and document management
  • Assist with payment processing and basic accounts administration
  • Prepare reports and maintain office supplies

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in reception, front of house, or administration
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer systems
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Experience within the automotive or auction industry is desirable but not essential
