We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Receptionist to join a dental surgery team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service while efficiently managing front desk operations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care & Communication
    • Greet patients warmly and ensure a positive first impression of the practice
    • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage email correspondence
    • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
    • Provide patients with information regarding treatments, procedures, and practice policies
    • Handle patient concerns or complaints professionally and escalate when necessary
  • Administrative Duties
    • Maintain accurate patient records and update personal and insurance information
    • Process new patient registrations and consent forms
    • Manage appointment calendars to optimize surgery scheduling
    • Coordinate referrals to specialists when required
    • Prepare daily schedules and support the clinical team as needed
  • Billing & Financial Tasks
    • Process payments (cash, card, insurance claims)
    • Issue receipts and manage invoicing
    • Verify insurance coverage and assist with claims processing
    • Follow up on outstanding balances
  • Compliance & Organization
    • Ensure confidentiality of patient information in line with data protection regulations
    • Maintain a clean and organized reception area
    • Follow practice policies and healthcare compliance standards
